Think of New Ways to Help your Community
1. Share your skills with others in your neighborhood, building, office etc.: website design, basketball, baseball, graphic design, sewing, organizing, cooking, writing, fixing a car, gardening, singing, ……
2. Invite others in your neighborhood, building, office etc.: to picnic at the park, walk, hike, play chess, free day at the museum, bake cookies…
3. Ask Single moms/dads, Elderly, Busy parents in your neighborhood, building, office etc if they need help with errands, organize closet, do laundry, cook a meal, grocery shop, …….
4. Let others know you care. Smile at stranger, open the door, say excuse me when you walk in front of anyone, say please and thank you, acknowledge the good/positive things people do, and forgive others.
These are several examples, I’m not perfect myself. I try, I can try harder.
